Who Is This Program For

The Young Moms Work & Wellness Bridge is designed for young mothers who are ready to explore what stability could look like with support, not pressure.

This program may be a good fit if you:

  • Are a mother younger than 24.
  • Live in Greater Houston Area
  • Feel ready to take a next step toward education, training, or employment, even if you’re unsure where to start
  • Want guidance, structure, and encouragement while building your future
  • Are open to learning new skills, setting goals, and checking in with a mentor
  • Can commit to participating in the 12-month program at a pace designed to support, not overwhelm, you

You do not need to have everything figured out. You do not need a perfect resume, a clear career plan, or past success in school or work. Curiosity, openness, and willingness to try are enough.

Who This Program Is Not For

  • Cannot commit time to workshops, mentorship, and goal setting over the next year
  • Are looking for immediate cash assistance without participation in education or training
  • Are not currently open to reflection, growth, or accountability support
  • Prefer a fully self-paced program without check-ins or community connection

This is a supportive but active program. We walk alongside you, but we also ask you to show up for yourself.

Our Promise to You

We understand that many young mothers have experienced instability, interruption, and systems that failed them. This program is built with compassion, flexibility, and respect. We focus on progress over perfection and believe every mother deserves the opportunity to build a future that feels safe, sustainable, and her own.

Our Goal

We are actively raising $50,000 to launch the first phase of this program in January 2026, which will support 33 young mothers through training, support, and stipends. Our long-term goal is to raise $150,000 to serve all 100 moms enrolled in the full 12-month program.
